Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Allentown, PA) - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs unveiled their official uniforms, on-field caps and alternate logos on Wednesday at the State Theatre in Easton, Pa. The Philadelphia Phillies new Triple-A affiliate revealed five sets of uniforms that will be donned by its players: a home uniform, a road uniform, a Saturday uniform, a Sunday uniform and an alternate jersey (i.e. batting practice top). Each uniform consists of a separate on-field cap.
Images of the new uniforms and logos will be sent as attachments in a follow-up e-mail. Written descriptions of the jerseys appear below.
"I think we surprised a lot of fans with the number of uniforms and looks that the IronPigs will sport on the diamond," said IronPigs General Manager Kurt Landes. "We want to maintain a professional look on and off the field, and our different looks allow a little something for everyone."
The event raised $2,050.00 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), as the "first" jersey for each of the five IronPigs uniforms was auctioned off at the conclusion of the event. The uniforms, along with one retro Philadelphia Phillies jersey signed by former National League All-Star Greg Luzinski, were modeled by local radio personalities who were competing for different charities. The winning "models" were "Shep & Shelly," hosts of the morning radio show on WLEV 100.7 FM, who sported the Luzinski jersey and represented MADD.
The authentic game uniforms were designed with assistance from Plan B Branding (the San Diego-based creative ideas company that designed the IronPigs main logo) and were manufactured by Wilson Sporting Goods, the Official Uniform Provider for the IronPigs. The official caps are produced by New Era. All official jerseys and caps are now available for purchase at the IronPigs merchandise store located at 1892 Catasauqua Road in the Valley Plaza Shopping Center in Allentown.

Each jersey has a small player number in navy on the front and a bigger navy number on the back - trimmed in brick red - both in a customized font. Alternate Jersey The IronPigs alternate jersey (i.e. BP top) is a furnace blue jersey that can be worn with any of the IronPigs pants.
