IronPigs Try to Take Series from Tides

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to take the series from the Norfolk Tides on Wednesday night. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is slated for 7:05 p.m.

RHP Ben Lively (0-0, 2.57) gets the ball for the Pigs in the rubber match on Wednesday night. In his Triple-A debut on Friday vs. Louisville, Lively got a no-decision after allowing two runs on five hits while walking one and fanning five in seven innings of work. The right-hander was 7-0 with a 1.87 ERA in 9 GS with Double-A Reading this season.

LHP Ariel Miranda (1-4, 4.23) will be on the bump for the Tides in the series finale. The southpaw was tagged with the loss on Wednesday vs. Gwinnett when he allowed six runs (five earned) on 10 hits to go along with three strikeouts in 4.0 IP. Miranda is in just his second professional season in the United States after pitching seven seasons in the Cuban National Series from 2007-13.

After a multi-hit game on Tuesday, IronPigs OF Cody Asche is now hitting .238-2-4 (5-21, 2 2B, BB, 6 R) over five games on his rehab assignment.

The first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative 2016 IronPigs Team Photo Giveaway presented by People First Federal Credit Union. There is also an autograph session with the team on the main concourse from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Wednesday is also Ladies Night and women 18 and older have a chance to win great prizes as part of Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays Ladies Night during every Wednesday home game at Coca-Cola Park.
