Iowa Energy Acquire Michael Frazier from Los Angeles

Des Moines, Iowa. - The Iowa Energy have acquired guard Michael Frazier from the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the team announced today. In exchange, the Energy will trade their 2016 second round draft pick and the returning player rights to Kendrick Perry to the D-Fenders. Trade is pending successful completion of physicals.

Frazier (6-4, 194) has played in 14 games (no starts) for Los Angeles this season and has averaged 5.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 16.6 minutes per game. In three seasons at the University of Florida (2012-15), Frazier averaged 9.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 25.7 minutes per game.

Perry (6-0, 160) averaged 20.8 minutes, 6.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in nine games (three starts) for the Energy last season.
