Iowa Can't Catch up to Chihuahuas

The El Paso Chihuahuas scored four runs in the top of the first inning Friday and held on to beat the Iowa Cubs 4-3. El Paso pitching left 11 Iowa runners on base, including nine from the fifth inning on.

It was the second time in the last four games El Paso scored four runs in the first inning and the fifth consecutive time they've scored the first run of a game. Allen Craig had an RBI single Friday, extending his hitting streak to six games, with eight RBIs in that span.

Luis Urias walked four times Friday, one shy of a Chihuahuas and Pacific Coast League record. All four games of the Chihuahuas Midwest road trip have been decided by one run.
