
Intimidators Snap Six-Game Losing Streak With 9-6 Win Over West Virginia

Kannapolis, NC - The Intimidators hung a six-run third inning on West Virginia and held on for a 9-6 win to snap a six-game losing streak in front of 1,440 at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.
Kannapolis entered the third down 3-1, the Intimidators scored six runs on four hits, three walks and an error. Sergio Miranda delivered a two-run single and Dale Mollenhauer drove in a run with a bases loaded single.
The Intimidators didn't stop there with Logan Johnson blasting his ninth home run of the year (sixth inning) over the right field wall and Mark Fleisher picking up his first RBI (eighth inning) with the Intimidators scoring Miranda on a RBI single.
As for the pitching, Gregory Infante tossed 4.1 shutout innings in relief of starter Miguel Socolovich. Infante earned his first win to improve to 1-2.
