Monday, January 15th

INFERNO 6 - Pensacola 4

In a back and forth game in scoring, the Inferno came out on top with a 6-4 win over the Ice Pilots. Jeff Winchester netted his first goal of the season to open the scoring. Steve McJannet, Brad Ralph, Jeff Miles, Bryson Busniuk and Anthony Battaglia each scored for the Inferno. Rob Gherson earned the win stopping 21 of 25 shots on goal.

Friday, January 19th

INFERNO 5 - Augusta 4 (SO)

Mac Faulkner scored two goals and Anthony Battaglia scored the game winning shootout goal for the Inferno in their 5-4 win over the Lynx. Owen Fussey and Mike Jarmuth each scored a goal for Columbia. Rob Gherson earned his second win in a row stopping 25 of 29 shots on goal.

Saturday, January 20th

SOUTH CAROLINA 4 - Inferno 3 (OT)

The Inferno looked strong against the Stingrays and gained a point in the South Division standings as they drop 4-3 in overtime. Steve McJannet, Luke Fulghum and Bryson Busniuk each scored for the Inferno. South Carolina outshot the Inferno 36-31.

Mike Jarmuth is ranked fourth among ECHL defenseman in points with 30 (9g-21a)... Jarmuth also has five points (1g-4a) in his last three games... Jeff Miles is ranked fourth in the ECHL in shots on goal with 163 in 39 games... Mac Faulkner has four points (2g-2a) in his last three games... Steve McJannet has five points (2g-3a) in his last five games...Bryson Busniuk has four points (2g-2a) in his last three games...Chris Thompson has five assists in his last three games.

Augusta is in sixth place with 41 points (20-18-0-1) in the South Division. This is the sixth of eight games between the Lynx and Inferno. The Inferno is 4-0-0-1 against Augusta this season. The last time these two teams met was last week and the Inferno won in a shootout.

Inferno vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots

The Inferno is 2-1-0-0 against the Ice Pilots this season. This is the fourth and fifth games out of nine this year. Pensacola is in eighth place in the South Division with 22 points (10-28-1-1).

Come join the Inferno Booster Club for their annual Pasta and Pucks dinner. The Inferno players will be serving the dinner and all tips they earn will go directly to the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital. They will also be auctioning off their aprons as well as a dance with your favorite player. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling Tracy Vinson at 791-0959 or at the booster club table during games. Prices: Booster club members: Adults $10pp & kids 10 and under $8pp. Non-members Adults $12pp & $8 kids.

Ten of the authentic pink game worn jerseys will be up for a live auction after the February 10th game. The other 10 authentic pink game worn jerseys will be available for you to win in a raffle. Raffle tickets are just $1.00 each and all proceeds will be donated to the foundation. Stop by the customer service table for more details.
