Beaumont, TX (January 22, 2007) Please join the Texas Wildcatters at the Mid-County Gulf Credit Union grand opening tomorrow, Tuesday January 23. The Wildcatters will be on-hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Wildcatters' players will be hosting a street hockey clinic and following at 5:45 p.m. players will be signing autographs.
The newest branch in Mid-County is located at 2779 Aero Drive at the corner of Highway 69 and Nederland Avenue. Gulf Credit Union is a strong supporter of the 2006-07 Texas Wildcatters Hockey Season. This is the fourth Gulf Credit Union branch in Southeast Texas. There are also locations in Bridge City, Beaumont and Groves.
The Texas Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate for the AHL's Houston Aeros. The next Wildcatters home game is on Thursday, January 25 vs. the South Carolina Stingrays.
