ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward David Brine has been reassigned to the club from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Brine returns to the Everblades after skating in four games with the Americans, notching one goal and finishing a plus-1 in the first regular season AHL stint of his career. The Truro, Nova Scotia native was first called up to Rochester on January 15 and played in his first AHL game of the season on January 16 at Iowa. Brine tallied his lone goal in Rochester's 4-1 win at Milwaukee on January 19.

Brine jumps back into the Everblades lineup where he has tallied 19 points (5g, 14a) in 34 games. The 22-year-old has notched points in three of the last five games he's played in with the Everblades and earlier this season the rookie strung together a five-game point scoring streak scoring three goals and three assists.

The Florida Everblades, proud affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers, return to the ice on Friday, January 26 when they host the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena.
