PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have agreed to terms with rookie forward Dan Riedel. Riedel is expected to make his RoadRunners' debut Friday at Fresno.
Riedel, 21, recently withdrew from Ferris State University midway through his sophomore season after totaling three goals and 12 points in 19 games. The Rochester Hills, Mich. native was named to the 2006 Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) All-Rookie Team and finished eighth nationally among NCAA rookies in points per game last season with 10 goals and 31 points in 34 games. Prior to his arrival at Ferris State, Riedel was the 2004-05 United States Hockey League (USHL) CCM Forward of the Year after producing a league-high 81 points on 30 goals and 51 assists in just 60 games as a member of the Lincoln Stars.

Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday, January 30 as they welcome the Stockton Thunder. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
