Indy's Sunday Doubleheader in Buffalo Iced Out
April 15, 2018 - International League (IL1)
Indianapolis Indians News Release
BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Indianapolis Indians' doubleheader scheduled for Sunday, April 15 in Buffalo has been postponed due to icy conditions. Approximately one inch of ice glazed Coca-Cola Field overnight and into Sunday, ultimately cutting the planned four-game series in half.
The Tribe and Bisons meet July 27-29 at Victory Field, with a potential for one or two doubleheaders that weekend. Exact dates and times for those twin bills have not yet been determined.
Indianapolis' road trip moves on to Syracuse for a three-game set beginning Monday, April 16. Right-hander Austin Coley (0-1, 81.00) will start the series opener for Indy.
To purchase tickets for any Indians home game, contact the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-2282 or Tickets@IndyIndians.com. For more on the Tribe, visit IndyIndians.com.
