INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians open an eight-game homestand on Friday when Toledo comes to Victory Field for a 7:15 p.m. contest. The stretch continues through June 6 as the Tribe squares off with the Mud Hens (May 30-June 2) and Lehigh Valley IronPigs (June 3-6).
Fri., May 30 -- Toledo @ 7:15 p.m. * Friday Night Fireworks -- Fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks spectacular courtesy of Coors Light. * Boy Scout Campout -- Boy Scouts will have the opportunity to camp out on the Victory Field playing surface after the game. For more information, call the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-3545 ext. 258. * WISH-TV Weather Night -- WISH-TV Weather Forecasters Steve Bray, Ken Brewer, Angela Buchman and Randy Ollis and will be on hand for pre-game and in-game festivities. The group will throw out ceremonial pitches, sign autographs and sing the seventh-inning stretch.
Sat., May 31 -- Toledo @ 7:00 p.m. * Pirate Parrot Performs -- The Pittsburgh Pirates' official mascot, the Pirate Parrot, will be on-hand to entertain fans of all ages courtesy of Clarian Health. The Parrot will also sign autographs during the game. * Team Autograph Night -- Indians players and coaches will be signing autographs on the concourse from 5:45-6:30 p.m. courtesy of the Hoosier Lottery. * Colts Book Drive -- The Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Department of Child Services are teaming up with the Indianapolis Indians to host a book drive. The drive will officially kick-off the statewide Books for Youth drives. Each fan who donates a book will receive a limited-edition Colts poster (while supplies last). In addition, Colts Cheerleaders and the team's mascot, Blue, will be on-hand to sign autographs.
Sun., June 1 -- Toledo @ 2:00 p.m. * Jersey Tee Giveaway -- It's another Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive an Indians Jersey Tee (Randy Johnson replica) courtesy of Cardinal Fitness & Ivy Tech Community College. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. * Little League Day -- Little League teams in attendance will participate in an on-field, pre-game parade as a part of Little League Day. Contact the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-3545 ext. 258 for group ticket pricing or more information. * Strikeout Homelessness -- The Indians are pleased to introduce a new community effort called Strikeout Homelessness at Victory Field. The Tribe will donate $25 to Wheeler Mission for each strikeout by an Indians pitcher at Victory Field from June 1-Aug. 30, 2008. Click here for more information. * Knot Hole Run -- Members of the Community Health/WISH-TV Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.
Mon., June 2 -- Toledo @ 7:00 p.m. * Monday Dollar Menu -- Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.
Tues., June 3 -- Lehigh Valley @ 7:00 p.m. * 2-for-1 Tuesday -- 2-for-1 coupons are available at participating Qdoba Mexican Grill locations for each Tuesday night game at Victory Field.
Wed., June 4 -- Lehigh Valley @ 2:00 p.m. * Business Day Game -- Enjoy an afternoon away from the office with clients, co-workers, or friends. * Parking Shuttle -- The Tribe is now offering a Business Day parking shuttle for each weekday afternoon game at Victory Field. Fans may park at IUPUI (lot located at West and Michigan Streets) for just $3 and take advantage of a complimentary shuttle to the ballpark. The shuttle will run continuously from 90 minutes before the game until 30 minutes after the contest.
Thurs., June 5 -- Lehigh Valley @ 7:00 p.m. * Ticketmaster Family Night -- Get four box seats, four hot dogs, four sodas, and four Indians Hats for only $52.
