
RTN to broadcast Bulls series in Rochester

Durham, NC - The Durham Bulls today announced next week's series against the Rochester Redwings in Rochester, NY will be broadcast live on RTN, Time Warner Cable Channel 251. The four-game series runs from Tuesday, June 10 through Friday, June 13th. All games are scheduled for 7:05 PM. It's the first time a Bulls road game has been available on television since Game Three of the 2003 Governors' Cup Championship in Pawtucket.
"As the popularity of the Durham Bulls and Minor League Baseball expands, we want to offer our fans more opportunities to see the Bulls on the road," Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, "If the feedback is positive we'll look to do more road broadcasts next season."
The Bulls will carry the feed directly from Rochester, including the Redwings production, graphics and play-by-play. As part of the deal, Rochester will receive the Bulls broadcast of the July 10-12 series at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
