
Idaho Stampede Announce 2009-10 D-League Schedule

BOISE, ID, August 13, 2009 - The Idaho Stampede will open their 2009-10 season in the NBA Development League on Saturday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. when they host the Reno Bighorns at Qwest Arena in Downtown Boise.
The Idaho - Reno contest is the first of 50 regular season games for the Stampede, 26 of which will take place at Qwest Arena.
"The schedule this season will provide fans the ultimate fan experience from the NBA caliber play to the national halftime entertainment and local acts," said Stampede President and General Manager, Steve Brandes. "With 17 weekend dates, fans are sure to have a great time out at all Stampede games."
The Stampede will also take part in the 2010 NBA D-League Showcase that will take place from Jan. 4-7 at Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho. The Sixth Annual Showcase returns to Boise where all 16 D-League teams will play two games each in front of scouts from NBA teams and fans from the Treasure Valley.
Also highlighting the 2009-10 NBA D-League Schedule is the All-Star Game and Dream Factory which is part of NBA Jam Session presented by adidas at NBA All-Star 2010 in Dallas.
Fans can purchase ticket packages for Stampede games and the D-League Showcase at the Stampede office now by calling (208) 388-4667 or logging onto idahostampede.com. Great seats for the 2009-10 season are available, starting at just over $5 per seat. The Stampede offer a wide-variety of ticket options for any fan, including eight-game mini-plans starting at just $75 per seat.
For the first time, the NBA D-League will feature two conferences, East and West, for the 2009-10 season with the Red Claws and Armor joining the Eastern Conference. The Eastern Conference will consist of the Dakota Wizards, Erie BayHawks, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Iowa Energy, Maine Red Claws, Sioux Falls Skyforce and Springfield Armor, while the Western Conference includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds, Austin Toros, Bakersfield Jam, Los Angeles D-Fenders, Idaho Stampede, Reno Bighorns, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Tulsa 66ers and Utah Flash.
