
IceGators will host post-game skate November 16

Lafayette, LA â The Louisiana IceGators and Bennigan's will present "Skate with the âGators" following the Sunday, Nov. 16 game versus Pensacola at 4:05 p.m. The entire team will join anyone wishing to skate on the ice 20 minutes following completion of the game. The skate will last one hour. Skates will be available at the Cajundome, and fans are encouraged to bring their own if they would like. Bennigan's, the official home for all Sunday post-game parties, will still host a post-game party, with the time moved back approximately one hour.
"This is a great opportunity for our fans to get up close and personal with our players," said IceGators general manager Brian Kelley. "This is a chance not only to skate in one of the best ECHL arenas, but to do it in a family atmosphere with our team. We are hoping this will be the first of a handful Skate with the âGators throughout the season."
Also next weekend is Southwest Magnetic Schedule Night and Boy Scout Fundraiser Night, both Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7:05 p.m. against expansion Texas. The team will give away 3,000 magnetic schedules, featuring a picture of Kenny Corupe.
The IceGators play seven home games in 22 days starting this Sunday, Military Appreciation Night, at 4:05 p.m. against Columbus. Anyone showing valid military identification, active or retired, will receive a $2 discount off tickets at the Cajundome box office. The IceGators are also offering "civilian" discounts, as anyone bringing in an American flag to the box office will also get $2 off tickets.
Individual tickets for all games, starting at just $10 for adults and $9 for kids (ages 2-12 in any level), are now on sale at the Cajundome Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets. Full season ticket packages, half season plans and Ice Packs are still on sale and can be purchased by calling (337) 234-4423. Season ticketholders get great benefits like the concession item of the game and merchandise discounts. Full season packages start at just $288, while children ages 4-12 can have season tickets for only $225 in any level, including rink side, with an adult purchase.
