Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
FLORENCE, SC -- The Florence Pride, proud members of the ECHL, announced today that rookie defenseman Mark McRae will be this week's guest on Qantum Communications. McRae will hit the air waves tomorrow morning, starting at 8:00, on Qantum's Florence stations: 103X, Sunny 105.5, Eagle 92.9 and The River 102.9.
The rookie from Cornell University is tied for the team lead with three goals, and leads the team with two game-winners. Florence is 3-0-0 in games when McRae scores a goal, and is 0-3-1 in contests when he does not score.
Florence continues its six-game home stand with a pair of games this weekend. Friday night, the Pride host the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:30 in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. Saturday, the Greenville Grrrowl are in town, also at 7:30. It's Guaranteed Win Night at the Lion's Den. If the Pride do not beat the Grrrowl, all fans in attendance will be able to purchase $1.00 tickets for the Pride's game against the Roanoke Express on November 13. Tickets for all Pride home games are available at the Florence Civic Center Box Office, all TicketMaster outlets, by phone at (843) 679-9333 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
