November 5, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
FLORENCE, SC â The Florence Pride, proud members of the ECHL, announced today the hiring of Neil Broome as the team's new Director of Ticket Operations. He will begin his duties with the team immediately.
Broome will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Pride's ticketing, including maintaining and servicing existing season-ticket accounts, selling new season tickets and selling group tickets.
"I am excited to join the Pride staff," Broome said. "This is going to be an exciting season of hockey, and I look forward to increasing the attendance at the Lion's Den. I am also anxious to meet as many Pride fans as I can throughout the season."
"We are excited to have Neil come on board with us," Pride Senior Vice President Jack Capuano said. "Neil and his family are from Florence, and he knows a lot of people in the area, which is certainly a great attribute for his position. He has a good deal of selling experience, and that should help him in selling Pride hockey."
The Pride's six-game home stand continues with a pair of games this weekend. Friday, Florence hosts the Gwinnett Gladiators in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. On Saturday, the Greenville Grrrowl skate into town on Guaranteed Win Night. If the Pride do not beat the Grrrowl, all fans in attendance will receive $1.00 tickets for the Pride's home game against Roanoke on November 13. Both games this weekend start at 7:30. Tickets for all Pride home games are available at the Florence Civic Center Box Office, all TicketMaster outlets, by phone at (843) 679-9333 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
