2/4/05 > Long Beach 1 @ Idaho 2
Looking for their fourth straight win, the Ice Dogs fell short in Boise Friday night, falling to the Steelheads by a margin of 2-1. The Ice Dogs did get on the board first, with a goal by Mike Vellinga that was assisted by goaltender Olivier Michaud in the second period after a scoreless first. They held a 1-0 lead heading into the third, before Idaho scored twice to win the game. It was the first time this season the Ice Dogs lost a game when leading after two periods. Michaud made 27 saves in the win.
2/5/05 > Long Beach 2 @ Idaho 0
After falling to the Steelheads the night before, the Ice Dogs took one back with a 2-0 shutout over the defending Kelly Cup Champions. Goalie Chris Madden earned his second consecutive shutout, stopping all 47 shots he faced. The game was scoreless after two periods before Steeve Villeneuve got the game winner on the power play in the third period. Marco Rosa added an empty netter with one second to go as the Ice Dogs held on to first place in the West Division.

The Ice Dogs and Wranglers will face-off on Tuesday night in Las Vegas. The Ice Dogs are 2-0-1 versus the Wranglers this season, with two of the games being decided by a shootout. All three games have been decided by one goal.
2/11/05 > Long Beach @ San Diego
On Saturday night, the Ice Dogs will head down to San Diego to take on the Gulls. In three games this season, Long Beach has a record of 1-1-1 versus the Gulls, with the last game being a 4-1 loss at the Long Beach Arena.
2/12/05 > Long Beach @ Bakersfield
In a battle of two teams fighting to maintain control of first place in the West Division, the Ice Dogs and Condors will play for the sixth time this season. The Ice Dogs lead the season series with a record of 3-1-1, with the last game being a 3-2 overtime win on January 28th.
