
Rivermen to Appear at Casey's General Stores in Farmington and Groveland Today and Tomorrow

Peoria, Ill. (February 8, 2005) â Center Tyler Rennette and left wings Scott Turner, Justin Maiser and Kris Kasper of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL will appear at two Casey's General Store appearances today â Tuesday, February 8 â and Wednesday, February 9.
On Tuesday, February 8, Rennette and Turner will appear at the Casey's General Store in Farmington, IL (84 S Main, Farmington, IL 61531) from 6-7:00 p.m. Both players will interact with and sign autographs for those patrons and fans who attend.
On Wednesday, February 9, Maiser and Kasper will appear at the Casey's General Store in Groveland, IL (19416 Springfield Rd., Groveland, IL 61535) from 6-7:00 p.m. Both players will interact with and sign autographs for those patrons and fans who attend.
The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL â The Premier "AA" Hockey League. On Friday, February 11, the Rivermen host the Dayton Bombers at 7:30 p.m. at Carver Arena. It's the Third Annual Potter & Anderson Jewelers "Wedding on Ice." Five Peoria-area couples will get married on Carver Arena ice. The team will wear special Valentine's Day-themed jerseys to be auctioned immediately following the game with the proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois â Peoria Office. On Sunday, February 13, Peoria hosts the rival Johnstown Chiefs for the first time this season. Game time is 3:00 p.m. at Carver Arena. It is the third of four Peoria Journal Star/Insight Media Family Days. Kids 12 & Under receive a $2 Upper Bowl admission, and there are $2.50 Kids Meals. Scooby Doo will appear courtesy of the Cartoon Network.
