
Hot Rods Homestand Notes for June 12-June 14

Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
Bowling Green, KY - With just six games remaining in the first half of the 2012 Midwest League season, the Bowling Green Hot Rods return home to begin a six-game homestand with a three-game series with the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Class A Affiliates of the Detroit Tigers. The Hot Rods enter play Monday with a two game lead on the South Bend Silver Hawks for a playoff spot with only seven games to play. Below is a listing of the exciting events, promotions, and activities at Bowling Green Ballpark for this three-game series from June 12-June 14.
Tuesday, June 12 - 7:05 PM:
IGA All-You-Can-Eat Tuesday - with an $8 upgrade to any purchased ticket receive access to an All-You-Can-Eat buffet in the Home Run Grill from 6:30pm to 8:00pm thanks to IGA
Wednesday, June 13 - 12:05 PM:
Businessperson Special presented by BGMU - enjoy a ballpark buffet with a side of Hot Rods baseball for just $14, which includes your ticket to the game and a Ballpark Buffet from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Special Kids Splash Zone in section 101 - Kids receive a special $8.50 admission and are encouraged to wear their bathing suits for the special ballpark Splash Zone.

West Michigan Whitecaps Team Notes:
This is the first series between the Hot Rods and Whitecaps at Bowling Green Ballpark this season.
Current Rays Fernando Rodney, Matt Joyce, and Burke Badenhop all played for the Whitecaps
The team is based in Comstock Park, Michigan, a suburb of Grand Rapids
The Whitecaps have won five Midwest League titles, most recently in 2007
