GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars have announced a partnership with Veteran Tickets Foundation, in which the Cougars organization will be donating 10 four-packs of tickets for each remaining regular season home game during the 2012 season. In addition to all remaining 2012 regular season games, the Cougars will be donating as many four packs as are requested for its upcoming Military Appreciation Night on Friday, July 6.

Veterans and active military interested in receiving these donated tickets must register on the Veteran Tickets Foundation website (www.vettix.org).

"Vet Tix is proud to partner with the Kane County Cougars during their 2012 season," said CEO and Vet Tix founder, Michael Focareto. "There's truly nothing more American than taking in a baseball game, and we're thrilled that the Cougars see the importance of giving back to those who have served."

Earlier this month on June 3rd, the Cougars welcomed 19 service men and women from the 318th Public Affairs Operations Center from Forest Park, who have been deployed to Iraq twice since 2002.

"The Cougars organization is honored to work with Veteran Tickets Foundation and provide veterans and active military an opportunity to be guests of the Cougars at a game this summer," said Amy Mason, Cougars Director of Ticket Services and Community Relations.
