SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs return home on Friday, April 27th for their second homestand of the season. The Chiefs will face the Rochester Red Wings (AAA-Minnesota) this weekend for a quick three-game series. This homestand features the Chiefs first fireworks show of the season, pre-game fan batting practice, meet the Chiefs, Bark in the Park #1, and many other exciting promotions!
Friday, April 27th (6:35 p.m. vs. Rochester) - The first game of the series at NBT Bank Stadium will feature the Chiefs' first post-game fireworks extravaganza of the season, presented by Coca-Cola. It is also Craft Beer Friday, presented by Now & Later Bottle Shop and Tap Room. Fans 21 & older can purchase a $20 ticket package, which includes a ticket to the game and (2) vouchers for craft beers at the Now & Later Craft Corner. Every Craft Beer Fireworks Fridays is co-sponsored by 93Q.
Saturday, April 28th (1:05 p.m. vs. Rochester) - This Super Saturday at NBT Bank Stadium allows fans the exclusive opportunity to take batting practice on the field before the game. Batting practice for fans will being at 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Fans will be given the opportunity to take one turn (5 pitches) at the plate. The opportunity to take batting practice will be given on a first come, first serve basis and will end promptly at 11:45 a.m. to allow time to prepare the field for the game that afternoon. Helmets and bats will be provided by the Syracuse Chiefs.
After the game on Saturday, fans can join the Chiefs on the field for our annual Meet the Chiefs event. Fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite players and get autographs.
Sunday, April 29th (1:05 p.m. vs. Rochester) - Bring your K9 friends to the game for Bark in the Park on Sunday! The first 500 dogs in attendance at the game that day will receive a dog waste bag giveaway, courtesy of Melvin & Melvin Law Firm. Fans & their four-legged friends can also participate in the "Chiefsminster" dog parade on the field before the game. Dog tickets for Bark in the Park are $5.00, with all proceeds going to local participating animal rescue groups.
Sunday is also Kids Eat Free, presented by NBT Bank and The Rebel. Kids 12 years and under will receive a voucher for a kids popcorn and a 12 oz. Coca-Cola fountain drink in the first inning, a kids Hofmann hog dog and a 12 oz. Coca-Cola fountain drink in the third inning, and a kids cup of Perry's ice cream in the 6th inning. Don't forget, fans can run the bases after the game every Sunday, presented by East Syracuse Chevrolet.
