PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Wednesday's scheduled contest between the Toledo Mud Hens and the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium has been cancelled due to rain and the forecast for inclement weather throughout the evening.

The game will not be rescheduled as this was the last meeting between the two clubs this season. It marks the first time Toledo has had a game cancelled since June 4, 2017, when its matchup at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre was scrapped due to rain.

The first-place Mud Hens return to Fifth Third Field on Friday to open a three-game series against the Louisville Bats. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
