The SeaWolves again responded with a long ball in the bottom of the sixth when Wells led off against former SeaWolf Andrew Kown, with his second home run of the game and ninth of the season for a 6-1 Erie lead.
Erie would put the game away in the bottom of the seventh. Caonabo Cosme and Will Rhymes started off the inning with back-to-back singles and Skelton walked to load the bases for Wilkin Ramirez. Ramirez singled through the left side, bringing home Cosme and Rhymes for an 8-1 lead. With two on and still only one out, Wells stepped in an slammed his third home run of the game. The three-run shot gave the SeaWolves an 11-1 lead.
Harrisburg would score once in the ninth to make it 11-2, which would be the final score.
French (6-11) was stellar in picking up his sixth win of the season going seven innings, allowing a run on seven hits with a walk and a season-best eight strikeouts. He did not allow a run over the first five innings of the game. It was the sixth straight game where French worked at least six innings and the fourth time in the last six games where he has tossed seven.
