July 5-7 vs. Quad Cities River Bandits
The Kernels pay tribute to the men and women protect our country on Armed Forces Night, presented by Midwest Curb Grinding on Saturday, July 5th. The Kernels will wear special jerseys that will be sold during the game via a silent auction and fans with an active military ID can get reduced priced tickets for their entire family in the Club and Plaza sections. Then, after the game enjoy a spectacular fireworks show, presented by Bank of the West and KWWL. Gates open at 6 pm and the Kernels take on Kane County at 7 o'clock.
Sunday is always a fun day and this Sunday is extra special! The first 1,000 kids, 12-under, through the gates when they open at 1 pm receive a free youth-size baseball bat, courtesy of McDonald's. During the game, there will be a silent auction on the concourse as General Mills will provide cereal and product baskets with the proceeds from the auction to benefit the United Way. It's also a 104.5 KDAT Sunday Family Fun Day. Fans can get autographs from the Kernels, play Travel Advisors Baseball Vacation Bingo during the game and then run the bases and play catch in the outfield after the game, thanks to Steak N Shake. The Kernels take on Kane County at 2 pm.
