Bridgeport Islanders News Release

With the family home for Thanksgiving weekend, a great way to spend time together is at a Bridgeport Sound Tigers hockey game. The Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the New York Islanders, will try to feast on their opponents in home games held at the Arena at Harbor Yard, Friday, Nov. 24 and Sunday, Nov. 26.

Friday, Nov. 24 vs. Binghamton, 7:30 p.m.

After winning twice in Broome County, N.Y., the Sound Tigers will try to make it three-for-three against the East Division-rival Senators. See for yourself if rookie standout Blake Comeau can continue his magic against the Senators. Comeau has a goal and six assists in two games against the Sens. The Sound Tigers have ended each of their last two home games with thrilling shootouts.

Sunday, Nov. 26 vs. Albany, 4 p.m.

Another divisional rival, Albany, makes its first visit of the season to the Arena at Harbor Yard. The River Rats feature high-scorer Keith Aucoin and former Sound Tiger Ben Guite. The Sound Tigers are 19-9-5-1 (wins, losses, ties, overtime losses) all-time against the River Rats. Albany, the long-time New Jersey Devils' top farm team, is currently affiliated with the Colorado Avalanche and defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes.

Autographs after the games!

Sound Tiger players are on hand after games to sign pictures, posters, jerseys and other memorabilia, behind Section 103. Steve Regier and Frans Nielsen are scheduled to be on hand after Friday's game and Luch Aquino and Masi Marjamaki are slated for Sunday. All autograph sessions are subject to change.
