On Tuesday, Josh Tordjman made 55 saves in his third career AHL start to lead San Antonio over Houston, 4-2... Manitoba erased four separate one-goal deficits before Brad Moran's goal midway through the third period gave them a 5-4 win in Hamilton... Brandon Bochenski scored in overtime as Norfolk won its 10th straight home game, 3-2 over Manchester... Vojtech Polak scored with 4:39 left in regualtion as Iowa secured a 3-2 win at Milwaukee.

LOOKING AHEAD: First place in the West Division is up for grabs when Omaha hosts Chicago in a pre-holiday feast on Wednesday night... The teams come in with identical 12-4-1-0 records, and have already split two previous meetings this season... The Wolves have won nine of 10 road games this season, including a 3-1 decision in Omaha on Nov. 3..., Chicago has averaged 5.6 goals scored per road contest, but the Knights have been stingy on Civic Auditorium ice, allowing only 13 goals in seven home games... Neither Jason Krog nor Darren Haydar has been held off the scoresheet in a game this season... Rookie Dustin Boyd leads Omaha with 22 points in 15 games played, twice the scoring output of anyone else on the team.
Milwaukee begins a 10-game road swing on Wednesday night in Rochester, where the league-leading Americans are 9-0-0-0 this season... The Admirals, who hit town on a four-game losing streak, will play 10 road games in 18 nights in six different cities, and start the trip without leading scorer Alexander Radulov, recalled by the parent Nashville Predators on Tuesday... The Amerks begin the week with five of their top nine scorers on NHL recall to Buffalo or Florida... Forward Rostislav Olesz, the seventh overall pick in the 2004 NHL draft, was assigned to Rochester by the Panthers this week... Clarke MacArthur leads the Amerks with 16 points, including seven (5g, 2a) in his last three games.
Lowell puts a six-game points streak (5-0-1-0) on the line Wednesday at the Giant Center in Hershey... The Bears are winless in their last three games (0-1-1-1) after a 10-1-0-1 start to the season, but have won 13 straight meetings with New Jersey's AHL prospects since April 2004... The Devils have climbed into third place in the Atlantic Division thanks to their current 7-1-1-1 run, and they head to Hershey having won four straight on the road... Eric Fehr leads the Bears in scoring with 21 points and carries a 13-game scoring streak (9g, 11a)... Tomas Fleischmann has 14 points in eight games for Hershey this season... Justin Papineau has nine points in his last four games for Lowell (3g, 6a), while Chris Minard has scored five goals in seven games with the Devils.

On Monday, former Rochester Americans accounted for 18 points (5g, 13a) in Buffalo's 7-2 win over Tampa Bay, including Thomas Vanek and Paul Gaustad with two goals each... Two-time AHL All-Star Ray Emery made 42 saves to lead Ottawa past Minnesota, 5-3... Ryan Whitney had a goal and two assists as Pittsburgh beat Philadelphia, 5-3... Marek Svatos had two goals and an assist in Colorado's 5-4 loss to Dallas.

BY THE NUMBERS: 3 -- AHL games scheduled to be worked this week by veteran NHL referee Kerry Fraser, as he begins a conditioning stint following off-season knee surgery... Fraser will work as part of two-referee crews in Binghamton on Thursday, Rochester on Friday and Hershey on Sunday, where he will partner with his son, Ryan.
