ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Max Moroff and Christopher Bostick smacked home runs to back six shutout innings by J.T. Brubaker, and the Indians rolled to a three-game series sweep with an 8-0 shutout in Rochester on Thursday afternoon. The win was Indy's fifth straight overall and gave them its third sweep over the Red Wings at Frontier Field in the last six seasons.

Indianapolis (30-27) sealed the sweep thanks to some early offense against southpaw Dietrich Enns. The Indians failed to capitalize on a first-and-second, no-out situation in the first but rebounded with three runs in the second frame to grab the lead for good. Wyatt Mathisen doubled home Kevin Kramer for the game's first run, and Moroff followed with his second home run of the season, driving an Enns pitch off the railing above the wall in left-center.

Bostick then got the best of Enns to start the third, belting a long homer beyond the left-field wall to push Indy's lead to 4-0.

Four more Indians touched home in the fifth as the Tribe sent 10 batters to the plate, marking the sixth occurrence this season where Indy batted around in an inning. Three consecutive one-out singles by Bostick, Jordan Luplow and Jose Osuna made it 5-0, and Mathisen ended Enns' day when he pounded a hanging curve into left for an RBI knock. Ryan Lavarnway then hammered a run-scoring single to left off Jake Reed and Pablo Reyes worked a bases-loaded walk to cap the frame.

Brubaker (W, 3-2) danced in and out of trouble, scattering five hits and four walks with four strikeouts in his sixth Triple-A start. He pitched around two-out doubles by Jake Cave and Taylor Motter in the first and second innings. The Red Wings (28-27) posed another threat in the fourth with the bases loaded, but Brubaker struck out Taylor Featherston on a high fastball.

Rochester had a leadoff double by Zack Granite in the fifth and back-to-back walks to open the sixth go to waste, as well. The Red Wings left 12 runners on base and went 0-for-14 with runners in scoring position.

Enns (L, 4-6) allowed a season-high eight earned runs on nine hits in 4.2 innings pitched. The Tribe improved to 14-5 when facing a left-handed starter this season.

Bostick and Luplow led Indy's 13-hit attack with three-hit performances from the second and third spots in the order. Eight of Indy's nine starters recorded at least one hit; all nine starters had a hit in Wednesday night's 7-2 win. Moroff and Mathisen tallied two RBI apiece in the victory.

The Indians have allowed just eight earned runs over 54 innings in the month of June, good for a 1.33 ERA. Three of their league-leading eight shutouts have come in the season's third month.

The Indians continue their road trip with three games in Pawtucket beginning Friday night. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. Clay Holmes (3-3, 4.31) gets the nod for Indy, opposite PawSox righty Justin Haley (3-6, 3.18).
