The Harrisburg Senators and Richmond Flying Squirrels play game two of their three-game series on Saturday night at FNB Field. The Senators go for their seventh straight win. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

TONIGHT'S GAME The Senators welcome the Richmond Flying Squirrels to FNB Field for a three-game series to start a seven-game homestand. The Senators tied a season-high with their sixth win a row after taking the series opener over the Squirrels 3-0. The Senators also took three out of four from Richmond on the prior road trip, as the two teams are in the midst of a stretch where they play seven of 10 games against each other. The Senators are 6-2 against the Flying Squirrels this season. The two clubs are scheduled to play 19 games against each other this year.

PITCHER HOME RUN Luis Reyes became the first Senators pitcher this season to hit a home-run when he launched a solo-shot in the bottom of the fifth in the series opener. Prior to the home run, Reyes was 0-7 in his professional career. The last Senators pitcher to hit a home run was Mark Blackmar on April 17, 2017 at Hartford. Reyes is the 14th pitcher in the modern Senators era to hit a home run (since 1987).

#WINNING The Senators are five games over .500 for the first time this season following their series opening win over Richmond. It's the first time the Senators have been five games over .500 or better since they finished the 2016 season 76-66. Since the team fell to a season worst 13-21, the Senators are 22-9 over the past 31 games. In addition, the current six-game winning streak ties a season-high and is the third winning streak of four games or more over the past 25 games.

BATTING BETTER The Senators team batting average when they were a season-low 13-21 was .227. In the 31 games since, the Senators have raised their team batting average 14 points to .241. The Senators have improved their team batting average every month, as they hit .232 in April, .241 in May and now .257 in June. After hitting 17 home runs in April, the team smashed 25 in May and in June they have hit 13, the second highest total in the Eastern League. IT'S ABOUT HOW YOU START AND HOW YOU FINISH The Senators are 28-5 (.848) when they score first which is the best winning percentage when a team scores first in the Eastern League. In addition they are 22-9 (.710) when scoring last, which is third highest mark in the league. The Senators are also 14-7 in one run games, the second best winning percentage in the league. SENATORS STARTING PITCHER Jaron Long takes the mound in game two of the series for the Senators. The right-hander is 1-3 with a 4.62 ERA across 10 games and six starts this season. Long is making his second straight start against Richmond, after throwing six innings of three run ball in game one of a doubleheader on June 9. For more information, please turn to page two.

RICHMOND STARTING PITCHER The Squirrels counter with starter Conner Menez. The right-hander is making his making his Double-A debut after pitching 11 games with Single-A San Jose and two games with Triple-A Sacramento. Menez was assigned to Richmond on June 14. The 23-year-old was drafted by the Giants in the 14th round of the 2016 draft from the Master's College.
