HANNY LENDS A HAND: Forward Lukas Hansen scored the game-winner with 1:08 left in the game as the Saskatoon Blades defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-1 Saturday at accesso ShoWare Center.

The six-foot center notched his seventh goal of the year to help the Blades earn their first win on their season-long seven-game road trip. The Blades are just under halfway through with four games remaining on the swing.

Rookie netminder Evan Gardner stopped 18 shots to improve his record to 5-4-0-0.

Saskatoon remains one of the top teams in the league with a 16-8-0-0 record and 32 points.

NEXT GAME: The Blades will get a good rest before their game in Portland tomorrow night against the Winterhawks.
