Americans vs Royals
Friday, November 24 | Kennewick, WA | Toyota Center
Start Time: 7:05 p.m. PDT
The Americans and Royals will match up for the first time in their four-game season series tonight at the Toyota Center.
Tri-City had a 2-1-0-1 record over the Royals last season.
The Americans last played on Tuesday as they earned a 5-0 shutout win over the Seattle Thunderbirds. Lukas Matecha made and impressive 34 saves to earn his first WHL shutout. The Czech netminder is 8-3-1-1 this season with a 2.29 goals-against average and a .929 save-percentage.
Five different players found the scoresheet for the Americans: Andrew Fan, Pasha Bocharov, Max Curran, Jordan Gavin, and Jake Sloan.
Gavin is on a four-game point streak with four goals and four assists over that period.
The Americans acquired left-winger Carter MacAdams yesterday from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a third-round pick in 2026.
The Americans will look to earn their third straight home win tonight. They will head to Vancouver and take on the Giants.
