This week, the Hamilton Bulldogs travel to Grand Rapids to face the Griffins (AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings) for back-to-back games at Van Andel Arena on Friday, February 3rd, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
At all Friday night Hamilton Bulldogs home games, fans can purchase draft beer for only $3.00 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum . Fans must be of legal drinking age and are asked to drink responsibly.
At all Sunday afternoon home games, fans can purchase a "Pizza Pizza Family Pack", which includes four tickets to the game and a $20.00 food and beverage voucher for only $60.00! "Pizza Pizza Family Packs" are available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, the Bulldogs' Office at 101 York Boulevard in Hamilton, or by calling 905-529-8500 or 1-888-DOGS-TIX (1-888-364-7849).

The Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Toronto Marlies 4-1 on Friday, January 27th, 2012 at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. Garrett Stafford, Brian Willsie, Aaron Palushaj and Phil DeSimone scored for the 'Dogs while Nathan Lawson made 19 saves to earn the win. Matt Frattin scored his sixth of the season for the Marlies.

The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated by the Lake Erie Monsters 3-1 at Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday, January 28th, 2012. Brian Willsie scored his eighth of the season and Nathan Lawson stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced. Luke Walker netted his sixth of the season for the Monsters.

D Frederic St-Denis participated in the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic in Atlantic City, NJ and recorded a 92.3 MPH slap shot in the Hardest Shot Competition. D Garrett Stafford is currently on a nine-game point streak with a goal and 10 assists during that span. C Louis Leblanc has 3 points in his past four games. He also recorded 44 shots in the month of January. RW Brian Willsie leads the 'Dogs in shots on goal with 157 and is ranked fifth in the AHL. He also has 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) in the last three games. RW Aaron Palushaj has 12 points (7 goals, 5 assists) in 11 games in the month of January and is currently tied for third in the AHL for game-winning goals with five. C Andreas Engqvist has 18 points (9 goals, 9 assists) in the past 15 games, including three game-winning goals.

- Montreal LW Max Pacioretty scored a goal and recorded an assist against the Detroit Red Wings (Jan. 25).
- Montreal C David Desharnais found the twine twice and added an assist against the Detroit Red Wings (Jan. 25).
- Montreal G Carey Price stopped 26 shots for a win over the Red Wings (Jan. 25) and played in the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game this past weekend.
- Toronto C Mikhail Grabovski netted a goal and helped set up three goals against the New York Islanders. He was also named the NHL's First Star of the Week (Jan. 24).
- Edmonton C Shawn Horcoff scored a goal against the Vancouver Canucks (Jan. 21).
