
Bell and Guenin Recalled

Syracuse, NY (January 30, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the Anaheim Ducks have recalled center Mark Bell and defenseman Nate Guenin.
Bell, 31, has played in three games with the Ducks this season going scoreless with five penalty minutes. Bell has recorded 15 points (6g, 9a) in 34 games with the Crunch this season. The St. Pauls, Ontario native has played in 445 career NHL games collecting 182 points (87g, 95a) and 597 penalty minutes. Bell was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round (eighth overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft and signed by the Ducks as a free agent on July 20, 2011.
Guenin, 29, has played in 10 games with the Ducks this season and has recorded one goal and six penalty minutes. Guenin scored his first career NHL goal in his Anaheim debut on October 7 in Helsinki, Finland. Guenin was named Crunch Captain at the start of the 2011-12 season and has totaled four points (assists) in 21 games with the Crunch this season. Guenin was acquired on Jan. 4, 2011 from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Trevor Smith.
