SHINING STARS
Right wing DARREN HAYDAR, who will serve as team captain, and defenseman KEVIN CONNAUTON will skate for the Western Conference team in tonight's 2012 AHL All-Star Game in Atlantic City, N.J.; this year's contest marks the second straight year that Chicago has sent multiple players to the All-Star Game.
WOLVES HEADLINES
--- STEVE REINPRECHT: Paced the team with 5 goals, all of which came in the first period, and 6 points in three games last week ... Ranks third on the team with 17 assists and shares third with 26 points in 33 games this season ... Skated in five contests with San Antonio before being acquired by Vancouver on Oct. 22 ... Amassed five multiple-point outings in his last 11 games and collected 7 goals and 12 points during that span ... Amassed 7 goals, 13 points and +9 plus/minus rating in 12 games during the month of January
--- MARK MANCARI: Collected five points (2G, 3A) in three games last week, which included his fifth three-point performance of the season on Jan. 24 (G, 2A) ... Paces the Wolves and shares 12th in the AHL with 18 goals and is tied for first on the team and 16th in the league with 38 points in 38 matchups this season ... Ranks second on the squad with 20 assists ... Recorded 27 points (11G, 16A) in his last 20 outings, which includes at least one point in 15 of those games and eight multiple-point contests ... Paced Chicago with 8 assists and 14 points in 12 games in January
--- JORDAN SCHROEDER: Tallied his sixth multiple-point outing of the year on Jan. 25 (G, A) ... Shares second on Chicago with 12 goals and third with 26 points in 44 contests this season ... Accrued 10 points (4G, 6A) in his last nine tilts, which included eight points (3G, 5A) during a career-best six-game point streak from Jan. 11-21 ... Already surpassed his 2010-11 goal total (10) and is two points shy of matching the 28 points he posted in 61 games as a rookie with the Manitoba Moose last season
--- MATT CLIMIE: Backstopped the Wolves to two wins in two starts last week ... Ranks fourth in the AHL with a .928 save percentage and 11th with a 2.38 goals-against average in 21 games this season (14-6-0) ... Accrued an 8-2-0 mark, 1.89 goals-against average and .935 save percentage over his last 10 appearances
WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves earned a season-high eight victories during the month of January (8-4-0-0); Chicago sits in second place in the Midwest Division with 52 points (24-16-1-3) and trails first-place Charlotte by four points but holds two games in hand.
--- After sweeping their three-game road trip last week, the Wolves only play three road tilts the entire month of February and all three games are in Rockford; Chicago has posted a 12-8-1-1 mark on the road this season and the team's 12 victories on enemy ice share fourth in the Western Conference.
--- Chicago has been perfect on the penalty kill in nine of their last 12 outings (40 of 43), which includes thwarting all three of Milwaukee's chances Friday night; the team ranks sixth in the AHL with an 84.2 efficiency rating on the penalty kill this season (149 of 177).
--- Goaltender EDDIE LACK's 29-save shutout on Jan. 25 was his second whitewash of the season and seventh of his AHL career; the shutout was also Chicago's 92nd in franchise history.
--- Chicago has bagged a power-play goal in back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 28-29, a span of 13 outings; the Wolves rank 19th in the league with a 16.8 efficiency rating on the power play this season (32 of 190).
PUCK-ER UP
--- The Wolves wives kick off their puck fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 3, and will be selling autographed pucks during home games throughout the month of February. The specially wrapped pucks, which contain candy and the autograph of a surprise Wolves player, can be purchased for $10 in the concourses of the Allstate Arena. Fans who buy a puck that has a player's name signed in gold will have the chance to meet that player after the game.

--- The Wolves scored two first-period goals and hung on for a 2-1 Amtrak Rivalry win over the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center
--- Forwards STEVE REINPRECHT and MARK MANCARI each scored for Chicago
--- Goaltender MATT CLIMIE kicked out 30 shots and held the Admirals scoreless for the first 55:39 of the contest

--- Wolves goaltender EDDIE LACK pitched a 29-save shutout and the team defeated the Abbotsford Heat, 5-0, at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre
--- Forwards STEVE REINPRECHT (2G), ANTON RODIN (2A), JORDAN SCHROEDER (G, A) and BILL SWEATT (G, A) appeared on the scoresheet multiple times for Chicago

--- The Wolves snapped a four-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over the Abbotsford Heat at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre
