LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field for an eight-game homestand starting Tuesday, June 3. The G-Braves will host the Columbus Clippers, Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, for four games from June 3-6 and the Rochester Red Wings, Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, for four games from June 7-10. In addition to exciting play on the diamond, the homestand features numerous promotions and giveaways.
The homestand kicks off on Tuesday at 6:35 PM with a "Two-for-Tuesday," as all Field and Infield Box seats are 50% off. Hot dogs are also half price on Tuesdays. Wednesday's 6:35 PM game is "Winning Wednesday" sponsored by the Georgia Lottery. If the G-Braves don't win the game, each ticket stub will be good for 50% off an Infield Box or Field Box seat for any remaining Monday-Thursday regular season home game in 2014. Also on Wednesday, fans are invited to play along with Baseball Bingo for a chance to win great prizes, sponsored by Dave & Buster's!
The series continues on Thursday with a 6:35 PM start and a "$3 Thursday," featuring $3 food and beverage specials all game long. Country Financial Lawn Seats are also just $3 on Thursday. Friday's 7:05 PM game, sponsored by 12 Stone, is another "Friday Fireworks" night at Coolray Field. Fans are invited to stick around after the game for the best fireworks show in Gwinnett County presented by Fox 5 Atlanta and Dollywood - the perfect Smoky Mountain family getaway.
Gwinnett will welcome Rochester on Saturday at 7:05 PM. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mike Minor Bobblehead. All G-Braves' players and coaches will wear specialty jerseys on Saturday, with each being auctioned off during the game to benefit the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation.
The series continues at 2:05 PM on "Sunday Family FunDay." Pre-Game Catch on the Field starts when the gates open and 1:00 PM and lasts approximately 20 minutes. After the game, it's the Post-Game Kids Base Run (kids 12 and under) presented by Kid-to-Kid Buford. Sunday is also "Superhero Day" as well as "Public Safety / Touch-a-Truck" day.
Monday, May 19 is a 6:35 PM game and a "Kids Eat Free Night," where all kids ages 12 and under will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, bag of chips and small soda. The series concludes on Tuesday at 6:35 PM with another "Two-for-Tuesday."
