Grrrowl Sign Forward Peter Flache as Playoffs Approach

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League on Thursday signed forward PETER FLACHE to an ECHL contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Flache is the identical twin brother of current Greenville Grrrowl defenseman and Atlanta Thrashers prospect PAUL FLACHE. The 21-year old Lakehurst, Ontario native recorded 8-20-28 points and 155 penalty minutes in 68 games with the Ontario Hockey League's Saginaw Spirit. He is expected to make his professional debut tonight skating on a line with TYLER DEIS and MATT DEMARSKI as the Grrrowl visit the Pee Dee Pride tonight at 7:00 PM (Newsradio 1330 & 950, WORD).
