Jaffray Named to ECHL All-Rookie Team

ROANOKE, VA – Roanoke Express forward Jason Jaffray was named to the 2002-03 East Coast Hockey League's All-Rookie Team today, it was announced by the league. Jaffray currently leads all ECHL rookies in scoring with 83 points, and ranks seventh overall in the entire league with that point total. The 21-year-old Olds, Alberta native has tallied 33 goals and helped out with 50 assists in 60 games with the Express this season. Jaffray began his professional career with Roanoke in October, after spending the previous five seasons in the Western Hockey League, where he compiled 235 points in 277 games.
