DATV to Rebroadcast Friday's Bombers' Game on April 2

The Dayton Bombers have announced that Dayton Access Television (DATV) will be taping a telecast of the Bombers vs. Peoria (7:30 p.m.) game this Friday for a later airing on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. The six-man telecast production crew will be led by Director Dale Grow. Bombers' play-by-play voice Matt Gorsky will handle the commentating chores.

The DATV telecast of the Bombers' "Fan Appreciation Night" game will be aired on DATV Channel 20 in Dayton, Riverside, and Butler Township and on MVCC (Miami Valley Communications Council) Channel 23 in all of the Southern suburbs of Dayton on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at 8:00 p.m.

DATV, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, providing local program producers access to cable television in Dayton. DATV offers workshops on the basics of television production that enables local citizens to create their own noncommercial television programs for and about Dayton. These programs are cablecast on DATV, Time Warner Cable Channel 20, and Dayton Spiritual Television, a religious access channel seen on Time Warner Channel 12. Time Warner can be seen by approximately 46,000 subscribers in the City of Dayton, Riverside, and Butler Township.

The Bombers' "Fan Appreciation Night" game will also be "Bud Light $1 Beer Night" at the Ervin J. Nutter Center. The Bombers will also be giving away 2000 Trevor Ettinger Bobbleheads in addition to prizes all night long for fans.. They will also hope to give away a one-year lease on a 2003 Pontiac Vibe and will be auctioning off their "Red" game jerseys after the tilt.
