Grizzlies Tough Times Continue in 6-2 Stockton Loss

Stockton, California - The Stockton Thunder defeated the Utah Grizzlies 6-2 Friday at Stockton Arena.

Stockton grabbed an early lead 2:18 into the first period and regained control 52 seconds after Utah's Bryan Cameron tied the game at one at 8:20 of the first period. The Thunder quickly made it 3-1 at 11:12 of the first period. Stockton continued the scoring with another goal to make it 4-1 1:54 into the second.

From there, Utah rookie goaltender Grant Rollheiser settled into a grove and stopped 24 of the final 26 shots that he saw and 36 of 42 in the game.

Josh Burrows made it 5-2 with his first goal of the year 6:13 into the third period, before Stockton countered for the game's final score at 14:25 of the frame.

Utah continues their California weekend in San Francisco Saturday at 8:15 p.m. and Sunday at 3:15 p.m.

Utah returns home Thanksgiving Weekend to host the Alaska Aces on Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24. Face-off both nights is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
