TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors play game three of a four-game homestand, and the first home meeting against the Ontario Reign tonight. It is the second meeting of 10 this season between the two sides, with Ontario taking the first down South, 5-2, on Nov. 4. This is game number 16 for the Condors, which is tied for the most in the ECHL's Western Conference. Bakersfield will conclude the homestand on Tuesday against San Francisco.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors started strong with a convincing fighting knockout from D Tyson Gimblett over Las Vegas Wranglers F Adam Huxley, but dug themselves into a 3-1 hole and never recovered as Vegas snapped a six-game losing streak last night, 5-2. RW Tyler Brenner tied the game at 1-1 in the second, and C Parker Stanfield cut the lead to 3-2 early in the third period, but the comeback was not in the cards for the Condors who saw their three-game unbeaten (2-0-0-1) streak come to an end.
CONDORS NOTES
D Tyson Gimblett fought three times in the loss last night and is now third in the league with seven fighting majors. His 67 PIMs are good enough for third in the league as well... C Parker Stanfield has two points (1g-1a) in his last two games since returning to the Condors lineup... F Peter Boyd is tied for first in the ECHL with three shootout goals... D Olivier Dame-Malka is tied for first among ECHL defensemen and leads the Condors with 46 shots.
