
Wiebe Called up to Connecticut

Greenville, SC: Today the Road Warriors announced forward Shayne Wiebe has been called up to the Connecticut Whale.
Wiebe began the season with the Whale appearing in one game but has caught fire with the Road Warriors since coming to Greenville. The Brandon, Manitoba native has played in 12 games with Greenville scoring seven goals and five assists with a +9 rating.
"Wiebe is a very talented player and possesses a great skill set" said Head Coach Dean Stork. "He has been a very big asset for the Road Warriors in the early part of the season."
The Road Warriors begin a four game road trip tonight in Gwinnett. The two teams lead the ECHL in points with the Road Warriors trailing Gwinnett by just two points. Face-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
