Grizzlies Send a Pair of Players to Idaho

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH * Utah Grizzlies General Manager Laurence Gilman announced today that the team has released forward Brett Draney from his professional tryout and has re-assigned left wing Frantisek Lukes to the Idaho Steelheads, the Grizzlies primary ECHL affiliate.

Draney was signed to a PTO yesterday and dressed for Utah*s 4-3 victory over Chicago. He will return to Idaho where he has dressed in 11 games scoring two goals with seven assists. In yesterday*s game with Utah, Draney recorded two penalty minutes.

Lukes was re-called by Utah on November 30th from the Steelheads. He dressed in both games for the Grizzlies against Chicago and has seen action in five games overall for Utah. In 11 games with Idaho, Lukes has recorded two assists.

Utah will play the Cleveland Barons on Friday night in Cleveland. Face-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM (mt). All the action can be heard on ESPN Radio AM-1230.
