BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the release of Right Wings Blake Bellefeuille and John Morlang from their professional tryout contracts. Bellefeuille and Morlang returned to the United Hockey League's Danbury Trashers following the Sound Tigers' 1-0 loss to the Norfolk Admirals in Wednesday's "Cool Fun 101" educationally-themed morning game.

Morlang signed with the Sound Tigers last Friday and appeared in three games. Bellefeuille signed this past Tuesday and appeared in just the one game.

The Sound Tigers will play the second and third games of a four-game home-stand when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tomorrow at 7:35 p.m. and the Lowell Lock Monsters this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com.
