Admirals reassign Igor Radulov

NORFOLK, VA â Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced they have reassigned forward Igor Radulov to the Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL. In other news, injured forward Eric Nickulas, has re-joined the club after a lengthy injury.
Radulov has appeared in 16 contests with the Admirals in 2004-05 and has no points. Drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks with the 74th overall selection in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Radulov split time between the âHawks and Admirals last year. In 38 games with the Admirals in 2003-04 he tallied 23 points (nine goals, 14 assists). That same year, he had four goals and seven assists (11 points) for the Blackhawks.
Nickulas, sidelined with an injury, has rejoined the team and is expected to play this Saturday in Philadelphia and Sunday and Monday in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Nickulas, drafted by the Boston Bruins with the 99th overall selection in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, has appeared in two games this season for the Admirals. Last year he recorded 18 points (seven goals, 11 assists) with the St. Louis Blues before being claimed off waivers by Chicago on February 24. Nickulas spent the final 21 games with the Blackhawks and finished with one goal and one assist (two points).
The Admirals conclude their road trip with a game in Philadelphia on Saturday (7:05), then to travel Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for a 5:05 contest against on Sunday. They conclude the road trip on Monday in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. (This game was rescheduled from the contest that was cancelled on Saturday, October 23rd).
