Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies, who are still hunting for their first win, will finish a four game home stand Wednesday when they face-off at 7:05 pm against the San Antonio Rampage in the second of a two-game series. Monday's game against the undefeated Rampage ended in a tie.
Utah (0-3-1-1) seems to have a much-improved defense, which fought hard throughout the game Monday, holding the Rampage to only 16 shots. However, the Grizzlies will have to overcome Rampage goaltender Travis Scott who saved 37 shots in Monday's contest and who has limited his opponents to a 1.38 GAA in his first five games.
The Rampage are off to the best start in their history (4-0-1-0). Utah's all-time home record against the Rampage is 3-2-1-0.
The Grizzlies will be on the road this Friday when they meet the Griffins and Curtis Joseph who was assigned by the Detroit Red Wings to Grand Rapids earlier this week.
