Prudential C. Dan Joyner to Honor Local Community Heros

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced that PRUDENTIAL C. DAN JOYNERS REALTORS will sponsor the nightly ceremonial puck drop to honor those local individuals who have shown great leadership in the community. The recognition is part of the partnership between the Grrrowl and Prudential C. Dan Joyner Realtors, a long-time supporter of the organization and the entire Upstate community.
"We believe that the Greenville Grrrowl hockey games will provide the ideal forum to recognize those individuals and organizations that have gone beyond the call of duty in serving their fellow man. Grrrowl games will serve as a perfect venue for the community to recognize these special individuals," explained C. Dan Joyner, President of Prudential C. Dan Joyner REALTORS.
On opening night, the Grrrowl and C. Dan Joyner REALTORS will honor Mr. Wayne Wooten, an Easley resident and UPS route driver whose selfless act on September 24, 2003, rescued an elderly couple as their home exploded into flames. Mr. Wooten went into the home to pull the female occupant of the residence. Mr. Wooten will drop the ceremonial puck on the ice prior to the start of the game.

The Grrrowl have released the 2003-04 schedule, including "Opening Night presented by Verizon Wireless, on October 24th against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 PM.
