
Grizzlies Add Barron and De Jong to Roster

West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies have added Defenseman Nolan De Jong and Forward Travis Barron to the roster as both have been reassigned from the AHL's Colorado Eagles.
De Jong played in 50 games for the Eagles last season, scoring 2 goals and 5 assists. De Jong was a 7th round pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. De Jong played for the University of Michigan from 2014-17.
Barron played in 3 games for the Eagles in the 2018-19 AHL season, registering 1 assist. Barron played for Colorado in 20 playoff games in their 2018 Kelly Cup Championship run, scoring 2 goals and 5 assists. Barron played for the Ottawa 67's of the OHL fron 2015-18, with his best season coming in the 2017-18 season, where he had 21 goals and 36 assists in 67 games. Barron was drafted in the 7th round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Avalanche.
The Grizzlies are at home on October 26th and 27th against the Idaho Steelheads. Friday is an AFCU Friday as well at Metro by T-Mobile Pack the House Friday and Octoberfest with beer specials. Saturday the 27th is Epilepsy Awareness night with specialty jersey's that will be auctioned off after the game. Saturday also features trick or treating on the concourse with $5 tickets for kids in costumes.
