PROMOTION:

Boo with the Bears, presented by Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic - Halloween comes early to Orlando, as the Solar Bears will wear specialty skeleton jerseys, while fans will have the ability to participate in trick-or-treating on the Amway Center concourse and a costume contest.

TONIGHT: The Orlando Solar Bears (2-3-0-0) play the first of 12 games in their regular season series with the Florida Everblades (2-2-0-0). The teams begin a home-and-home series tonight, with the second match slated for Saturday at Hertz Arena.

FEJES REMAINS RED HOT: Forward Hunter Fejes' two goals on Saturday at Atlanta has given the forward a five-game point streak to start the season. Fejes leads the Solar Bears with seven points (5g-2a) and his two shorthanded goals are one away from tying the club's single-season mark, currently shared by J.J. Piccinich (2017-18), Eric Faille (2016-17), Brett Findlay (2016-17) and Brady Vail (2014-15). Both of Orlando's wins have come when Fejes has recorded a multi-point game.

THOMPSON SET TO MAKE SEASON DEBUT: Forward Tayler Thompson was activated from reserve earlier in the week, and the forward is set to make his season debut tonight. Orlando went 16-10-2-1 with Thompson in the lineup last season, and 6-3-0-0 in games in which he recorded at least a point.

LIGHTNING CONNECTION: Forward Mitch Hults will play his first game tonight as a Solar Bear after his reassignment from the Syracuse Crunch earlier in the week. The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect previously played in the ECHL last season, as Hults racked up seven points (2g-5a) in five games for the Utah Grizzlies.

FITZE ACTIVATED: Rookie Dylan Fitze is expected to make his pro debut tonight for the Solar Bears, after starting the season on injured reserve. The 6-foot-2, 203-pound forward wrapped up a five-year career at Laurentian University this past spring with the second-most goals in his school's history with 41.

BEREHOWSKY CLOSING IN ON CENTURY MARK: With 94 career wins behind the bench of the Solar Bears, Drake Berehowsky is already the winningest head coach in the team's ECHL tenure. He is only six wins away from joining former IHL Solar Bears bench boss Curt Fraser as the second head coach of a professional hockey team in Orlando to reach the century mark in coaching wins.

NEXT GAME: The Solar Bears complete their home-and-home series with the Everlades tomorrow night as the team travels to Hertz Arena for a 7 p.m. puck drop. Orlando's next home game will be the team's School Day Game against the Jacksonville Icemen on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 10:30 a.m. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
