Moose Assign Forward, Jets Reassign Goalie

Jacksonville, FL- The Jacksonville Icemen, proud affiliate of the NHL Winnipeg Jets and AHL Manitoba Moose, today announced that forward Cam Maclise has been assigned from Manitoba to Jacksonville, while Winnipeg reassigns Mikhail Berdin to Manitoba.

Maclise, 26, started off the year in Manitoba playing three games for the Moose. The 6-foot-3, 201-pound forward spent the 2017-2018 season with the Moose notching 13 points (7G, 6A) in 67 games. Following a collegiate career at Mount Royal University, the Camrose, Alberta native won a Kelly Cup with the Colorado Eagles in his professional debut.

Berdin, 20, has helped the Icemen to a perfect start for the 2018-2019 season. His .934 save percentage is 5th in the league, while his three wins have him in 1st in that category.

Rookie Tanner Jaillet will get the start tonight for the Icemen in his professional debut. The 25-year-old is a highly decorated collegiate athlete with an NCAA Championship to his name, along with back-to-back NCAA Goaltender of the Year awards. The Icemen are 1st in the South Division and face division-foe Greenville tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET at Veterans Memorial Arena.
