About Tonight's Game: South Carolina's three-game winning streak was snapped on Wednesday with a 4-1 loss to the Admirals at Scope. Both the Admirals and the Stingrays along with the Jacksonville Icemen, share a three-way split of the top spot in the South Division with six points each.
About Wednesday's Game: Chris Crane scored twice, while rookie goaltender Merrick Madsen made 34 saves to help guide the Admirals to an impressive 4-1 victory over South Carolina at Scope. Norfolk's penalty kill was on point, killing off all six South Carolina power plays in the game.
About the Admirals: After recording an assist in Wednesday's game, forward Ben Duffy extended his point streak to four games. Duffy shares the team lead in scoring with defenseman Jalen Smereck and forward Taylor Cammarata who recorded his first goal of the season on Wednesday against his former team...The Admirals are 3-0-0 when leading after the first period.

The Admirals will once again need to be mindful when Besse is on the ice....Defenseman Tim Davison ranks seventh in the league in scoring with eight points (2g, 6a) and is tied for the league lead in scoring among defensemen....The Stingrays have been one of the top offensive teams in the ECHL in the early season, averaging 3.7 goals per game and their 22 total goals are third most in the league.
