
Admirals Receive Kevin & Kelly Klima from AHL Tucson

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, have announced Friday that forwards Kevin Klima and Kelly Klima have been assigned to the team from the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Kevin Klima, 21, joins the Admirals after an 86-point campaign with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens during his final season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey league last year. The 5-10, 170-pound forward totaled 172 points (70g, 102a) and 209 penalty minutes in 181 career games in the QMJHL split between Chicoutimi and the Moncton Wildcats from 2015-2018. The Tampa, Florida native also registered a goal in 16 appearances with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) during the 2014-15 season.
Kelly Klima, 21, joins the Admirals after recording 36 points (18g, 18a) in 58 games played last season with Chicoutimi of the QMJHL. The 5-10, 170-pound forward concluded his QMJHL career compiling 128 points (64g, 62a) with 206 penalty minutes in 186 career games split between Chicoutimi and the Moncton Wildcats from 2015-18. The Tampa, Florida native also appeared in 15 games with the London Knights (OHL) in 2014-15.
Both Kevin and Kelly Klima are twins and are the sons of longtime NHL forward Petr Klima who posted 573 points in 786 NHL games. Both players are under an AHL contract this season with Tucson.
The Admirals battle the South Carolina Stingrays tonight at Scope and again on Saturday. Game time for both games is 7:00 p.m. Tickets available at the Scope Box office, or online at Ticketmaster.com
